Lisa Lindell’s harrowing and inspirational story will surprise and educate
medical consumers everywhere.
“108 Days” follows Curtis Lindell after he is admitted to one of the
nation’s premier hospitals following a severe burn injury. Lisa is forced to
watch helplessly as a string of egregious medical errors nearly cost her
husband his life. After he slips into a coma and can no longer breathe on
his own, Lisa can sit and watch no longer. Through sheer willpower,
vigilance and dedication, Lisa is instrumental in saving her husband’s life
with absolutely no previous medical training or experience.
Today Lisa dedicates her life to protecting others from deadly medical
errors. She frequently shares her experiences with the public, hoping to
inspire others to take control of their medical destiny. March 5, 2003
changed her life forever. Find out how it can help change yours.

“108 Days is a reminder that every patient needs a friend or family member
acting as his "patient advocate", someone who is watching out for him. These
days, nurses are multi-tasking and hospitals are hectic. Doctors aren't
always communicating with each other. A patient advocate keeping an eye on that one patient can make all of the
difference" --Maggie Mahar

"We have invited Lisa to speak at several NNOC events. Our audiences are always
registered nurses, often hundreds. Each time she has made the connection between
the RNs' right to act as a patient advocate and the safe care of patients clear
and compelling. We recommend her highly."
